Design capacity for the plant expansion <br />2. City of Otsego <br />3. Project schedule <br /> <br />The intent of this letter is to provide you and the City Council with the information to be <br />discussed. <br /> <br />During the feasibility study for the expansion of the Elk River wastewater treatment plant, we <br />inspected the existing treatment facilities with the PIant Superintendent, Mr. Darrell Mack, and <br />developed three biological treatment process alternatives as follows: <br /> <br />1. Conventional Activated Sludge (AS) <br />2. Trickling Filter/Solids Contact (TF/SC) <br />3. Rotating Biological Contactors (RBC) <br /> <br />Construction costs for these alternatives were estimated based on 2.2 and 3.0 million gallons per <br />day (MGD) expansions and are shown in Exhibit 1. <br /> <br />1959 SLOAN PLACE.
