<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, home health care reimbursements will increase <br />approximately $20 per day and medicaid payments will increase <br />approximately $10 per day for facilities located in the Sherburne <br />County part of the st. Cloud area. Because st. Benedict's Center is <br />located in Sherburne County this will result in an increase in <br />revenue of approximately one-half million dollars per year <br />($500,000), however, if the st. Cloud Hospital were also located in <br />Sherburne County or were part of the Twin Cities MSA, this would <br />result in a revenue increase of approximately two and one-half <br />million dollars per year ($2,500,000). <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF <br />ST. CLOUD, MINNESOTA that: <br />1. The most preferred course of action to correct the <br />economic and social inequities that have been experienced as a <br />result of OMB's realignment of Sherburne County out of the st. <br />Cloud MSA and into the Twin Cities MSA is to include stearns and <br />Benton Counties in the ~in Cities MSA as a Consolidated MSA. <br />2. The next aost preferred course of action to correct the <br />economic and social inequities that have been experienced as a <br />result of OMB's realignment of Sherburne County out of the st. <br />Cloud MSA and into the Twin Cities MSA is to align the <br />southeastern part of Sherburne County in the ~in Cities MSA and <br />the northwestern part of Sherburne County in the st. Cloud MSA. <br />3. In the event that neither of the above stated preferred <br />courses of action are accoaplished to correct the social and <br />economic inequities that have been created as a result of the <br />realignment of Sherburne County out of the st. Cloud MSA and into <br />
