The approval for the Elk River Schools is for the same services that were provided <br />this year by your department. The contract rate was increased to $50,000 ($25,000 per <br />officer) to be more in line with what was being paid to Hennepin County for its services <br />at our Rogers Schools. Next year, we plan to meet with all the governance units that <br />service our district with police liaison services and come to a better or more unified! <br />systematized service, including how we allocate monies (per pupil, per school, per <br />officer). In order to be more consistent, this could include reduction in district monies for <br />these services. <br /> <br />This serves as notice of our agreement with you for next year. We would appreciate a <br />signed agreement/acceptance of this being sent back to us---either a separate document or <br />a signing off on this letter. <br /> <br />We do appreciate your services, what you do for students, and the benefits that we <br />receive as a district.
