<br /> <br />ITEM 5. 1. <br /> <br />TO: MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />FROM: SANDRA THACKERAY, CITY CLERK <br /> <br />DATE: JANUARY 27, 1993 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: SUPPLEMENTAL ASSESSMENT HEARING <br />WESTERN AREA ASSESSMENT <br /> <br />The City Council adopted the final assessment roll for the <br />Western Area Phase I Improvements on October 19, 1992. <br />Following this adoption, staff noticed that an error was made <br />in notifying one of the residents. It was noted that Ronald <br />Crapser, who owns property at 1937 2nd Street, which is <br />located in the project area, did not receive notice of the <br />assessment hearing. His notice was sent to the wrong address. <br /> <br />In order to correct this, Staff attempted to contact Mr. <br />Crapser by phone to explain the situation. No phone contact <br />was made. Staff then sent Mr. Crapser the required notices <br />to hold a supplemental assessment hearing to add the property <br />at 1937 2nd street to the assessment roll. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The resolution adopting the supplemental <br />assessment roll are attached to this memo. <br /> <br />roll <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Council Action Requested <br /> <br />1.
