<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />SECTION 212.00 - HEALTH CARE DELIVERY COMMISSION <br /> <br />212.00 - ESTABLISHMENT OF HEALTH CARE DELIVERY COMMISSION <br /> <br />(- ) <br /> <br />There is hereby established in the City of Elk River a Health <br />Care Delivery Commission pursuant to the provisions of this <br />Ordinance. <br /> <br />212.02 - MEMBERS AND TERM <br /> <br />The Health Care Delivery Commission shall consist of seven (7) <br />members who shall be appointed by the Council at the first <br />meeting of the year for terms of three (3) years except that of <br />the members first appointed, two shall serve for a term of <br />three (3) years, two for a term of two (2) years, and three for <br />a term of one (1) year. The Commission will consist of the <br />following: <br /> <br />1. A resident of Elk River. <br /> <br />2. Medical Director for Elk River Ambulance. <br /> <br />3. A member of Health One Transportation. <br /> <br />4. Coordinator for Elk River Ambulance. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />Elk River ambulance staff member. <br /> <br />6. Representative of Elk River Police Department. <br /> <br />7. Member of the Elk River medical community. <br /> <br />A vacancy during the term of any member shall be filled by City <br />Council appointment for the remainder of the term. <br /> <br />212.04 - POWERS AND DUTIES <br /> <br />The Health Care Delivery Commission shall have and exercise all <br />the powers and duties conferred upon local boards of health by <br />Minnesota Statutes and other applicable laws and regulations of <br />the State of Minnesota as well as those powers and duties <br />imposed upon them by local ordinance. The Commission shall <br />provide appropriate communication to the emergency health <br />service staff and submit appropriate recommendations to the <br />City Council on an annual basis. The Commission shall meet at <br />least two times each calendar year. <br /> <br />(~I <br /> <br />2.20 <br />
