Duitsman <br />12354 Ridgewood Drive <br />Elk River, MN 55330 <br /> <br />Dear Henry: <br /> <br />The Elk River Area Citizens League cordially invites you to attend a Town Meeting on <br />Transportation to be held on Thursday, January 28, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the <br />new Meadowvale Elementary School (see attached map). <br /> <br />This meeting is our opportunity to learn about what public transportation is available in <br />our area, and to make our voices heard in the transit planning process. The panel will <br />include a Minnesota Department of Transportation transit planner and a project <br />manager for our area. They will provide us with copies of the MnDot preliminary draft <br />Transit Plan. Our comments, criticisms and suggestions will become part of the public <br />planning process. <br /> <br />This Town Meeting will be the first in a series of three meetings on the topic of <br />Transportation. Future meetings will focus on Commuter Connections and Highways. <br />After each meeting, the Citizens League will send a written report of public comments <br />directly to the State Senators and Representatives from our area.
