<br />Economic Development Authority Minutes <br />June 10, 1996 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />AND THEN CONSIDER THE PRIVATE DEVELOPMENT CONTRACT FOR TIF NO. 15. <br />COMMISSIONER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> <br />9. <br /> <br />Reoorts <br /> <br />The EDA reviewed the following agenda issues: <br /> <br />· Sustainable City Showcase <br />· Business Incubator Program <br />· Med Link Medical Prospect <br />· HRA Update - King and Main Redevelopment Project <br />· Gagne Property and Prospects <br />. Scott Abernethy Prospect <br />. Proposal for Trucking Businesses <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Lori Johnson and Steve Rohlf reviewed the King and Main Redevelopment issue. <br />Lori Johnson informed the EDA that the city is required to hold a public hearing <br />prior to purchasing the property. The public hearing is scheduled for June 17. <br />Steve Rohlf reviewed the environmental issues associated with the property. He <br />distributed an environmental site assessment for the affected properties. The <br />environmental assessment indicated that the costs associated with <br />environmental clean up total $19,468.71. Steve Rohlf indicated that he is <br />negotiating this issue with the Realtor. The EDA felt that the environmental costs <br />associated with personal items should be the responsibility of the seller. Steve <br />Rohlf indicated that this would be discussed by the City Council. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />Introduction of Director of Economic Develooment <br /> <br />President Gongoll introduced Paul Steinman. Paul Steinman is the candidate that <br />will be recommended to the City Council for appointment as Director of <br />Economic Development. <br /> <br />11 . Other Business <br /> <br />There was no other business <br /> <br />12. Adiournment <br /> <br />There being no further business, COMMISSIONER BENDER MOVED TO ADJOURN THE <br />MEETING. COMMISSIONER DWYER SECONDED THE MOTION.
