THE MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> <br />6.f. Discuss Enabling Resolution and Bylaws <br /> <br />No action was taken at this time. <br /> <br />7. Update/Status Report on EDA Main Street Redevelopment Project <br /> <br />Bill Rubin informed the EDA that on December 13, the City Council voted <br />to deny the TIF request but agreed to revisit the issue at a later <br />date. He indicated that this issue was scheduled to be on tonight's <br />agenda, but because the Chamber is meeting to discuss this on January <br />11, the developer requested that the issue be postponed. Bill Rubin <br />indicated that this issue would be discussed by the Council on January <br />31. <br /> <br />8. Update/Status Report on the Business Park Task Force <br /> <br />Bill Rubin updated the EDA on AEC's participation in Elk River's <br />pursuit of REA funds for infrastructure improvements associated with <br />the business park. He indicated that Anoka Electric -has agreed to <br />assist the EDA in the grant request. <br /> <br />Bill Rubin informed the EDA that the City Planner is in receipt of a <br />request to amend the comprehensive land use plan. The amendment would <br />affect the light industrial designation of a portion of the property on <br />the western end of the City. This would also affect the area <br />designated as a future business park. <br />
