<br />f~ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />..YI5~ <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />Page I <br />Permit MNG490000 <br /> <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />Minnesota Pollution Control Agency <br /> <br />National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) and <br />State Disposal System (SDS) Permit MNG490000 <br /> <br />for Construction Sand & Gravel, Rock Quarrying <br />and Hot Mix Asphalt Production Facilities <br /> <br />ISSUANCE DATE: October 24,2001 <br /> <br />EXPIRA TION DATE: September 30,2006 <br /> <br />The Pennittee is an owner or operator of facilities within the boundary of the state of Minnesota that: a) <br />discharge stonn water from construction sand and gravel, crushed and broken stone, or dimension stone <br />mining and quarrying areas; b) discharge stonn water from hot mix asphalt production areas; c) discharge pit <br />dewatering flow from construction sand and gravel mine pits; and/or d) operate wet scrubber wastewater <br />disposal systems at hot mix asphalt production plants. <br /> <br />Owners or operators ofthe facilities identified above are covered under this penn it if they have provided a <br />complete, approvable permit application, and have been notified in writing by the MPCA of pennit coverage. <br /> <br />. The State of Minnesota, on behalf of its citizens through the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA), <br />authorizes the Permittee to construct, install and operate a disposal system at the facilities named above, and <br />to discharge to receiving waters of the state of Minnesota, in accordance with the requirements of this permit. <br />The goal of this permit is to protect water quality in accordance with Minnesota and U.S. statutes and rules. <br /> <br />This permit is effective on the issuance date identified above, and supersedes previous general permit <br />MNG490000 (Construction Sand & Gravel, Rock Quarrying and Hot Mix Asphalt Production Facilities <br />(10/8/96)), issued for these facilities. <br /> <br />This penn it expires at midnight on the expiration date identified above. <br /> <br />Signature: <br /> <br />~~do-t;fCL~U~ <br />Elizabeth Shtwi <br />Director <br />Policy and Planning Division <br /> <br />for Karen A.
