<br />. <br /> <br />Air Quality <br /> <br />The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency regulates crushing and screening operations <br />at the site. The processing equipment is in compliance with the opacity requirements of <br />the New Source Performance Standards and is permitted under the Aggregate General <br />Permit. The general permit provides fleXibility for using different processing <br />configurations and various pieces of equipment~ depending on the type of product being <br />produced. It outlines production requirements, including record keeping, employee <br />training, noncompliance preventio~ and fugitive dust abatement and control measures <br />that must be maintained for compliance with the permit. Records of daily, monthly and <br />year-to-date production information is available for inspection. Water is used to <br />supplement moisture for control of fugitive emissions.
