The <br />agenda was approved. <br /> <br />4. 2rentwood Addition FreliminaIJ7 Plat <br /> <br />Dennis Anderson and Jim Klein presented the preliminar~y plat for the Brentwood <br />Addition. F-profile of 10\\7911 Street extension to the northeas~~, sho1\led it to <br />be impracticable. The staff thought that some of the vertical c~rves should <br />be lengthened to give better sight dist~~ce and safety. Also, some of the <br />grades should be reducec. The developer is thi~~i~~ of tOvITL~ouses or multi- <br />unit dvJellings for Blo-ck. Ll, along DeS. HighvJay 7i169. II'his \:~ould provide <br />cheaper units and cash for the rest of the development. The public hearing <br />was then opened. Les 1~cGray, Vice President of Barton's wanted the Commissioners <br />be aware that 3arton's pit is north of this development on ooth sides of <br />County Road ~'33. Also, that they have land rights to the north edge of <br />3rentwood Addition. Derillis Anderson said that Jackson and Norfolk Streets <br />end at the north edge, tov:ard 3arton's holdings. Lot sizes averages 2t acres. <br />They have a State Transportation Department letter in regards to sound barriers. <br />There would be approximately 190' of woods. The public hearing was then <br />closed. 1'here are two street hook-ups 1~;i th hidgelJOod East 3rd F-ddi tion streets, <br />one with Proctor Street and 2 ~ith Us Highway ~:169 that would be in line with <br />the Hyland Hills outlet cross overs. The drainage easements are not on the <br />plat as yet, but should not present any problems. Also, the power-lines do <br />not present any great problems. Several lots will have some dwelling site <br />lirni tations "because of it.
