<br />26, 1970, MEETING OF THE VILLAGE OF
<br />ELK RIVER PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION.

<br />Member introduced the following Resolution and moved
<br />its adoption.
<br />
<br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE COMPREHENS IVE
<br />MUNICIPAL PLAN
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of Elk River has
<br />retained the firm of Nason, Wehrman, Knight & Chapman, Inc. for the
<br />purpose of assisting in the preparation of a Comprehensive Municipal Plan,
<br />and
<br />
<br />\f.HEREAS, the said firm of Nason, ~-lehrman, Knight & Chapman, Inc.
<br />has in conjunction with the Village of Elk River Planning and Zoning "
<br />Corr~ission prepared such a Comprehensive Municipal Plan pursuant in part
<br />to further providing by the Department of Housing and Urban Development'
<br />under p~ovisions of the National Housing Act, Section 701, and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, such a Comprehensive Municipal Plan has been prepared and
<br />submitted to this commission by the firm of Nason, Wehrman, Knight &
<br />Chapman, Inc. dated April, 1970, and
<br />
<br />\f.HEREAS, at least one public hearing was held thereon on the 26th
<br />d~y of October, 1970. at the Village Council Room in the Municipal Building
<br />of the Village of Ell}. River, notice of the time, place and purpose of such
<br />hearing being published once in the Sherburne County Star News, the official
<br />newspaper of the Village of Elk River, at least 10 days before the day of
<br />hearing at which hearing this commission heard:all persons present desiring
<br />to be heard thereon.

<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the Comprehensive Municipal
<br />Plan for the Village of Elk River prepared by the firm of Naso~, Wehrman,
<br />Knight & Chapman, Inc. and dated April, 1970, be and the same is hereby
<br />adopted and the Secretary of this commission is further authorized and
<br />directed to certify a copy of the said Comprehensive Municipal Plan to
<br />the Village Council of the Village of Elk River together with a copy of
<br />this Resolution, and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS. prior to the publication of the notice of said hearing,
<br />the said proposed Comprehensive Municipal Plan had been transmitted to the
