Phil Hals will get <br />the list to the council. <br /> <br />7) Athletic Association Task Force reported that the concept <br />would take a lot of selling in order to get off the ground. <br />The members of the Task Force stated that in their estimation <br />there were not enough advantages to make it succeed in Elk <br />River. Chairman Mike O'Brien moved to accept therecommen- <br />dation of the Task Force that an athletic association is not <br />a viable entity in Elk River. Motion was seconded by Barb <br />Northway. Motion passed 8-0. <br /> <br />8) Notice of request for proposals for a Master Park Plan was <br />discussed. The Board expressed satisfaction with the proposal <br />request. Any additional consultants should be given to <br />Patrick Klaers at City Hall. <br /> <br />9) Phil Hals indicated the council had approved $7,000. for a <br />Handke warming house. Charlie Blesener will put together a <br />sketch and site plan for our June meeting. Charlie and Phil <br />will get together on costs.
