The company is proposing a 45,000sf addition to its present
operations, which would add at least 20 jobs over the next two years. The project is targeting a spring 2026
construction. The JCF incentivizes companies that create jobs by providing funds on a per net new job basis
and will also provide a rebate on construction costs. In this instance, the state and CDI have preliminarily
discussed an application amount of $175,000.

The JCF application requires a local government resolution of support that includes a finding that the four
program criteria will be satisfied by this project, along with project-specific factors supporting these criteria.
The four criteria are: 1) the project serves the public interest because it will encourage the growth of
commerce and industry; 2) the project would not reasonably be expected to occur solely through private
investment within the reasonably foreseeable future; 3) the proposed project conforms to the general plan for
the development or redevelopment of the city as a whole; and, 4) the proposed project will afford maximum
opportunity for the development of the project by private enterprise.

This incentive is part of a combined economic development package of the city and state, including tax
increment financing, of which the company has an active application with the city.

Financial Impact
N/A

Mission/Policy/Goal
Support industrial growth

Attachments
