In the interest of expediency and creating a comprehensive guiding document, staff would like to
move forward with the creation of the plan. Staff would like direction on completing an entire draft of the
document to present to the commission for review and input later this year. Staff could also partner with a
consultant for parts of the project where appropriate to ensure development of a plan that aligns with the
commission's vision and goals. Funds are currently budgeted in the CIP for a potential consultant partnership.

Financial Impact
To be determined and not to exceed $100,000 as budgeted in 2026.

Mission/Policy/Goal
Work with citizens to achieve goals.

Attachments
1.
