The City Council sets the <br />vision for the community and adopts short, mid, and long-term goals to achieve a vision across all city <br />departments. While these goals do not represent a complete list of city services, they do provide guidance to <br />city staff on which areas the City Council considers priority. <br /> <br />Financial Impact <br />In discussing goals and priorities, the resources needed to support them are also discussed. The goals set by <br />the City Council will determine some future budget items brought forward by city departments. <br /> <br />Mission/Policy/Goal <br />Where the Council and staff work with citizens to develop a sustainable and prosperous community for all to <br />live, work, and play; and to appropriately govern in an ever-changing environment. <br /> <br />Attachments <br />1.
