All orientation period employees will receive increases as stated in their <br />employment letter. If no special provision was outlined in the employment letter, <br />the employee shall receive the first step increase on the date noted above <br />provided they have successfully passed Orientation and are performing <br />satisfactorily. <br />Part -Time -Ray <br />5. Effective January 1, 2026, Paid On -Call Firefighters shall be paid in accordance <br />with the following schedule: <br />Position <br />Hourly Rate <br />Academy Cadet <br />$11.46 <br />Firefighter <br />Base Pay -Academy <br />$18.05 <br />Graduate through <br />year 5 <br />Years 6 through 10 <br />Base plus $0.50 <br />Years 11 through 15 <br />Base plus $1.50 <br />Years 16 through 25 <br />Base plus $2.50 <br />Years 26 and above <br />Base plus $3.00 <br />Additional to Firefighter Base Pay above: <br />Lieutenant $1.00 <br />Assistant Chief $3.00 <br />Captain <br />Base Pay $30.00 <br />Years 6 through 10 Base plus $1.50 <br />Years 11 through 15 Base plus $2.50 <br />Years 16 and above Base plus $3.00 <br />Officers who serve on -call as Duty Officer shall be paid $6.73 for each hour of on - <br />call duty. <br />6. Effective January 1, 2026, Fire Academy instructors and Fire Department <br />members instructing a course for firefighters earning a certification or <br />maintaining a certification or licensure shall be paid according to the following <br />schedule: <br />Assistant Instructor $40.00 per hour <br />Lead Instructor $50.00 per hour <br />7. Part -Time Police Reserves are required to serve in both a volunteer and a paid <br />capacity. Effective December 28, 2025, Police Reserves shall be paid $20.11 per <br />hour for the hours that are to be paid as determined by the Police Chief. <br />Page 55 of 447 <br />
