The grant requires approval from the City <br />Council and the signatures of the mayor and city clerk. <br /> <br />The Intensive Comprehensive Peace Officer Education and Training (ICPOET) program is designed to benefit <br />graduates of two- and four-year colleges looking to pursue a career transition into law enforcement. <br />Candidates earn a salary while completing law enforcement training and will be hired by the police <br />department upon completion of the program.
