They also had questions about <br />listing staff as the approver for the requests and the burden that places on them. <br /> <br />The Commission asked to have the city attorney attend their next meeting to answer their questions about <br />the proposed ordinance amendment. The city attorney is not available for the November Planning <br />Commission meeting, but will be in attendance on December 16, 2025. As a result, the Commission has not <br />provided a recommendation to the Council, and the Council may not act on the ordinance until after the <br />Commission. <br /> <br />Staff recommends the Council receive comments and then continue the public hearing to January 20, 2026. <br /> <br />Financial Impact <br />None <br /> <br />Mission/Policy/Goal <br />Ethical, efficient, and responsible. <br /> <br />Attachments <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />Page 238 of 379
