They also had questions about <br />listing staff as the approver for the requests and the burden that places on them. <br /> <br />The Commission asked to have the city attorney attend their November 25, 2025, meeting to answer their <br />questions about the proposed ordinance amendment. The city attorney is not available for the November <br />Planning Commission meeting, but will be in attendance in December. As a result, the Commission had not <br />provided a recommendation to the Council, and the Council continued their public hearing to January 20, <br />2026. <br /> <br />Staff recommend the Commission continue to receive comments and then continue the public hearing to <br />December 16, 2025. <br /> <br />Financial Impact <br />None <br /> <br />Mission/Policy/Goal <br />Ethical, efficient, and responsible. <br /> <br />Attachments <br />1.
