______________________________________________________________________________ <br /> <br />Page 1 of 1 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />UTILITIES COMMISSION MEETING <br /> <br />TO: <br />ERMU Commission <br />FROM: <br />Sara Youngs – Administrations Director <br />MEETING DATE: <br />November 12, 2025 <br />AGENDA ITEM NUMBER: <br />2.05 <br />SUBJECT: <br />2025 Assessments <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Approve 2025 Assessments Listing totaling $32,397.42 to provide to City Council for assessment <br />on property taxes. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Per State Statute, delinquent services can be assessed to property taxes for water, sewer, <br />stormwater, trash, and qualifying electric and franchise fee services. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION: <br />Attached is a listing of proposed assessments for customers with outstanding balances that <br />remain unpaid for water, sewer, stormwater, trash, and qualifying electric and franchise fee <br />services. The assessment total for 2025 is $32,397.42. The City Council would need to approve <br />the assessments and take them to the County for the actual assessment on property taxes. The <br />City Council will receive this listing for approval at their November 18 meeting, pending our <br />Commission’s approval. <br /> <br />All services are aggregated together on the listing attachment to show the total per property ID. <br />The totals per service are reflected at the bottom of the listing.
