Request for Action <br />ToItem Number <br />City Council4.4 <br />Meeting DatePrepared By <br />October 20, 2025Joe Stremcha, Business Services Director/Assistant <br />City Administrator <br />Item DescriptionReviewed by <br />Agreement 25-28: Lease of Lion John Weicht Park Cal Portner <br />Basketball Courts for Outdoor Ice with Elk River Tina Allard <br />Youth Hockey. <br />Action Requested <br />Approve, by motion, Agreement 25-28, the Lion John Weicht Park lease agreement with the Elk River Youth <br />Hockey Association (ERYHA). <br />Background/Discussion <br />ERYHA has agreed to renew a lease agreement for Lion John Weicht Park basketball courts to install their <br />outdoor ice rink. ERYHA will pay $2,500 over the term of their agreement (November 15, 2025, to April 15, <br />2026). <br />Rent shall be $500 per calendar month and due by the first day of each month. November and April shall be <br />paid at the prorated rate of $250 for each of those two months, with November rent being due on <br />November 14, 2025.
