City of Elk River <br />City Council <br />Resolution 25-56 <br />A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Authorizing <br />Execution of a Grant Agreement for the Toward Zero Death Program <br />WHEREAS, Be it resolved that the City of Elk River, on behalf of its police department, <br />enter into a grant agreement with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, for traffic <br />safety enforcement projects during the period from October 1, 2025, through September 30, <br />2026; and <br />WHEREAS, The City of Elk River Police Chief, Dave Kuhnly, is hereby authorized to <br />execute such agreements and amendments as are necessary to implement the project on <br />behalf of the City of Elk River Police Department and to be the fiscal agent and administer <br />the grant <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk <br />River, Minnesota, as follows: Accepts the Toward Zero Death Program Grant and <br />authorizes the execution of the agreement <br />Passed and adopted this 6th day of October 2025. <br />ATTEST: <br />Tina Allard, City Clerk <br />Cv <br />J9j1-i J. 61etz, 'I' for <br />L/ <br />PB/EREI I <br />1 ATURE <br />
