Motion carried 4-0. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> 8.3 Orono Lake Eurasian Watermilfoil Treatment Cost Share <br /> The staff report was presented. <br /> <br />Councilmember Calva asked how to treat milfoil in a lake that is also a river. Mr. Plant stated that there <br />are different kinds of chemicals that they can use, recommended by the DNR. There is a systemic <br />herbicide that affects the plant almost immediately. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to approve <br />the contribution of $975.07 to the Orono Lake Improvement District to assist with <br />Eurasian Watermilfoil treatment costs. Motion carried 4-0. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> 8.4 Resolutions 25-48 and 25-49 for Land Purchase Agreements with Coborns (PID 75-00566-0220 <br />and PID 75-00566-0210) <br /> The staff report was presented. <br /> <br />Mayor Dietz asked if it would come out of the liquor store fund? Mr. O'Neil stated that it was the <br />intention, yes. <br /> <br />Mayor Dietz asked if that would put us below the amount in the fund that they need. Mr. Portner <br />stated he would have to look into it, but thinks it would be close. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt <br />Resolution 25-48 authorizing execution of a purchase agreement for real estate (PID 75- <br />00566-0220). Motion carried 4-0. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Wagner to adopt <br />Resolution 25-49 authorizing execution of a purchase agreement for a portion of real <br />estate (PID 75-00566-0210). Motion carried 4-0. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> 8.5 Fire Station #1, Northbound, and Cannabound Construction Manager at Risk Agreements <br /> The staff report was presented. <br /> <br />Mayor Dietz asked if it gets delayed, how does that affect the cost? <br /> <br />Ben Newlin, Terra Construction, answered, stating that if there is a change in the construction <br />schedule, their fees wouldn't change for a reasonable period of time. If were a long time, there will <br />likely be an inflationary adjustment. <br /> <br />No other action was taken at this time. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
