Iilk] i6Y•]1oAIUs] ►10[QWAM1 <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />ELK RIVER MUNICIPAL UTILITIES <br />A RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACTS FOR EAST SUBSTATION FOUNDATION <br />INSTALLATION <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Elk River Municipal Utilities East <br />Substation Foundation Installation, bids were received, opened, and tabulated <br />according to State law, and the following bids were received complying with the <br />advertisements: <br />East Substation Foundation Installation <br />Bidder and Address <br />Bid Security <br />Bid Price <br />U.S. SiteWork, Inc. <br />11040 183rd Circle NW, Ste B <br />10% Bid Bond <br />$199,755.00 <br />Elk River, MN 55330 <br />New Look Contracting, Inc. <br />14045 Northdale Blvd <br />10% Bid Bond <br />$323,950.00 <br />Rogers, MN 55374 <br />Urban Companies, LLC <br />3781 Labore Road <br />10% Bid Bond <br />$353,300.00 <br />St. Paul, MN 55110 <br />WHEREAS, it appears that for the installation of pier and slab type foundations at the <br />East substation in Elk River, MN, U.S. SiteWork, Inc. of Elk River, MN is the lowest <br />responsible bidder at $199,755.00; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff recommends awarding the contracts for East Substation Foundation <br />Installation to U.S. SiteWork, Inc. of Elk River, Minnesota. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF <br />ELK RIVER MUNICIPAL UTILITIES, BASED UPON THE FOREGOING RECITALS <br />INCORPORATED HEREIN, AS FOLLOWS: <br />233365v2 <br />1. That the contract for the East Substation Foundation Installation is awarded <br />to U.S. SiteWork, Inc., in the amount of $199,755.00. <br />2.
