State Statute requires a
decision by the city within 60 days of this application. Statute also allows the city to extend
the timeline an additional 60 days if necessary.
Should the City Council deny your application and direct staff to prepare a formal
document denying the request, the review period will extend beyond the statutory 60-day
limit. Due to the possible denial, the city is extending the 60-day timeline to November 25,
2025.
The City Council, if needed, will act on the findings of fact during their meeting on October
6 or 20, 2025.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Chris Leeseberg, Senior Planner
Ph: 763.635.1033
cleeseberg@ElkRiverM N.gov
13065 Orono Parkway
Elk River, MN 55330
Phone: 763.635.1000
P 0 W E R I D 0 Y
NAWREJ
www.ElkRiveriMN-gov
