<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Resolution 25-__ <br /> <br />A Resolution of the City of Elk River Housing and Redevelopment Authority <br />Establishing the Budget and Tax Levy for the Elk River Housing and <br />Redevelopment Authority for the City of Elk River, Minnesota <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.033, Subdivision 6, authorizes the Housing <br />and Redevelopment Authority to levy an amount not to exceed .0185 percent of the <br />estimated market value within the city to be used for housing and redevelopment purposes; <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Elk River Housing and Redevelopment Authority anticipates <br />expenditures in 2026 for various housing and redevelopment activities. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Elk River Housing and <br />Redevelopment Authority adopts an expense budget of $509,450 for 2026, and requests the <br />City Council for the City of Elk River to levy a tax in the amount of $469,450 for the benefit <br />of the Authority to be used as provided by Minnesota Statutes. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted this 2nd day of September, 2025. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Denny Chuba, Chair <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Brent O’Neil, HRA Executive Director <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Page 63 of 65
