The first story is filled with modern display windows sheltered by a <br />brushed aluminum marquee. The corner neon sign appears to date from the original <br />construction. <br />Significance <br />Kemper Drug is locally significant as a mid -twentieth century addition to the downtown <br />commercial district. The building has a good deal of original integrity. This building <br />replaced a two-story brick structure destroyed in a fire. <br />
