Together with the main idea, these <br />theme statements will help guide interpretation at the Heritage Center. <br />Topics and Themes <br />Topic 1: People <br />Theme 1: People searching for opportunities have always recognized the unique resources of <br />Sherburne County. <br />• Subtheme 1.1. Father Hennepin <br />7. Vernon Bailey, a naturalist from Sherburne County who became a national leader in conservation <br />8. Indian burning <br />9. Zebulon Pike, 1805, journal entries on area from Crow River to Becker <br />10.
