Ot C Z 0 tear CONSULTANT CONTRACT Historic Contexts Study and Phase I and II Inventory This agreement is made by and between the Elk River Housing and Redevelopment Authority (referred to elsewhere in this document as the "HRA") and Carole Zellie of Landscape Research (referred to as "consultant.") WHEREAS, the work program includes the preparation of an historic contexts study and Phase I and Phase II inventory forms for up to ten properties; WHEREAS, Carole Zellie of Landscape Research is capable of providing the professional assistance required and is willing to make those services available; NOW THEREFORE, the parties hereto mutually agree as follows: I. Scope of Services The scope of services covered by the contract shall include the following: The consultant will conduct research and prepare an historic contexts study and Phase I and II inventory forms for up to ten properties for a total cost of $12,000. As described in the attached proposal, the consultant will prepare drafts for review and submit them to the HRA and Heritage Preservation Commission. The consultant will supply three copies of the final report; subsequent printing is the responsibility of the HRA. II. Time of Performance The services of Carole Zellie of Landscape Research shall commence on the signing of this agreement and shall be completed so that all final products are accepted by the HRA by June 15, 2002. III. Compensation and Method of Payment Commencement payment $2,500 January 2002 with contract signing First monthly billing $2,500 January 15, 2002 Second monthly billing $2,500 March 15, 2002 (First report draft) Third monthly billing $2,500 April 15, 2002 (Final report draft) Final submittal of approved report $2,000 June 1, 2002 Payment of the above shall be made to Carole Zellie of Landscape Research after submission of an invoice to the HRA. Payment shall be made within 30 days. Invoices shall specify the tasks performed and the work product completed.
