Senior Center Advisory Council <br />Wednesday, February 21, 2007 <br />10 am Senior Center 350 Evans <br />Present were. Holly VanderVelden, June Fenstra, Jay Grammond, Millicent Busch, Linda <br />Hjelmstad, Clinton Yancey, Sue Kostanshek and Annette Bonin <br />I. Sue called the meeting to order at 10 am. Minutes were reviewed. <br />II. Financial statement — Reviewed, no questions. <br />III. Old Business <br />A. February Main Event None. <br />B. Review of Febuary Events — Brunch & Learn on 2/06, Travel show on <br />2/13, Forward to the Future 2/15, Legal Service Seminar 2/16 <br />C. Silvertones Report — No report. <br />D. Community Ed. Report —Summer planning underway. Classes include <br />water walking, estate planning, computer basics and canning. <br />E. March Main Event —Lions Pancake Dinner on March 22�d. Bingo begins at <br />4 pm and dinner follows. Cost is $3 plus and item for CAER. Prizes will <br />be gift cards. <br />F. Other — DHS Renovation Grant completed. <br />IV. New Business <br />A. Other Events in the Area —Business Expo March 25h, Com. Ed. WWII <br />History on April I e, Garden Expo on April 2e, Methodist Church Chow <br />Mein Dinner April 2e, RSVP banquet May 23rd <br />B. Outings — Old Log Theater in March is full and second trip added. <br />Chocolate Lovers Trip on April 19P. Sue is working with Monticello Sr. Ctr_ <br />to plan trips for the rest of the year. <br />C. April Main Event — Volunteer Party — staff plans this event <br />D.
