Senior Center Advisory Council <br />Monday, November 19, 2007 <br />1:15 pm Senior Center 350 Evans <br />Present were: Clinton Yancey, Lois Swanson, Milicent Busch, Millie Miller, Mary <br />Heck, June Fenstra, Charlotte Strei, Sue Kostanshek and Annette Bonin <br />I. Sue called the meeting to order at 1 pm. Minutes were reviewed. <br />II. Financial statement — Reviewed. CAER dinner will come out of bingo <br />fund. Scholarship/Transportation fund will be starting. <br />III. Old Business <br />A. November Main Event — CAER dinner on Nov. 20th. Coborns <br />chicken, potatoes and coleslaw will be served. Prizes are cards and <br />stamps <br />B. Review of Oct./Nov. Events — Card Making classes very successful. <br />OktoberFest on 10/25 went well. Vet's Coffee Hour bringing new <br />people. Caregiver program on 11/8 co -sponsored with Faith in <br />Action. <br />C. Silvertones Report — Optional 3`d practice on the 3`d Monday each <br />month has been very helpful. Performances in December include; <br />First Friends 12/12, Twin Lakes Church 12/14, Zion Church 12/08, <br />Dining Site 12/20 and Ramsey Srs on 12/27. <br />D. Community Ed. Report — No report. <br />E. December Main Event — None planned, due to Holidays and <br />opening of second site. <br />F. Other — Reminder that programs will continue at 350 Evans site as <br />usual. It is important to put forth a positive attitude towards those <br />that are concerned about new sight and changes. <br />IV. New Business <br />A. Other Events in the Area — None <br />B. Outings — Doug Gabriel show on Jan. 18th. No trips are planned yet <br />for Feb. and March <br />C. January Main Event — Sat. Jan. 26th . Co -sponsored with Floyd <br />Olseson. Music and treats at 350 Evans Dining Room. <br />D. Other — None. <br />V. Next Council Meeting — Monday, Dec. 17th at 1:15pm, 350 Evans <br />VI. Newsletter — <br />VII Adjourn- <br />
