The City and ISD 728 mutually agreed that a shared sign was not in <br />the best interest of both parties. <br /> <br />In consideration of the use of ISD 728's property for the city’s sign, the city will bear the cost of relocating <br />electrical services for the district’s sign to be replaced in a new location on district property. The city’s <br />relocation cost shall not exceed $10,000. The district shall be responsible for any relocation costs that exceed <br />$10,000. <br /> <br />In its operation of the city sign, any content posted shall respect the district's content policies. The city shall <br />not use words or images that directly promote alcohol, tobacco, drugs, drug paraphernalia, weapons, or any <br />obscene, pornographic, or other illegal materials. The city shall refrain from accepting any advertisement fee <br />or sponsorship donation that would result in the display of content that is inconsistent with these posting and <br />advertising guidelines. Permissible advertising content may include the following examples: <br />▪ Restaurant hours of operation, such as “The Overlook 21+ Lounge open today from 6–10 p.m.” <br />▪ Sporting events, such as “Squash vs. ABC tonight at 7 p.m.” <br /> <br /> <br />Financial Impact <br />The city’s cost to relocate electrical services for ISD 728's future sign shall not exceed $10,000. <br /> <br />Mission/Policy/Goal <br />Meet changing needs - agile <br /> <br />Attachments <br />Page 70 of 309
