We went to market to fill this position, <br />received 83 applications, and interviewed six candidates. Following second interviews and background and <br />reference checks, we recommend Michael Eichten for the position. <br /> <br />Mr. Eichten has worked for Spee Dee Delivery Service for most of his career. In 2002, he became the Human <br />Resources Manager for the Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota region. In 2018, he became the <br />Human Resources Director, reporting directly to the Board of Directors. After a short stint as the Director <br />of Operations, Mr. Eichten decided to retire from the transportation industry and seek employment doing the <br />things he likes most; working directly with employees. <br /> <br />Mr. Eichten will start at step 2 of pay grade 3N.
