Maurer, Terry

From: Brent Christenson [brentchristenson05@hotmail.com]
Sent: Thursday, January 26,20068:59 PM
To: Maurer, Terry
Subject: 193rd Informational Meeting on January 25
Importance: High

Terry,

Thanks for sharing with us your findings on the 193rd Street project. As a concerned citizen who lives on 193rd, I
am concerned that not enough resources have been put in to studying the Elk Drive option as a viable corridor for
linking 169 to the new development areas on the east side of Elk River.

The shortest distance between two points is a straight line. From the east side of Elk River to 169 and the
shopping centers the shortest distance is via Elk Drive.

I think that to make a wise and truly good decision other options need to be evaluated(Elk Drive, 197th, etc...).
Also, a traffic count should be performed on 193rd to determine the actual traffic volume. I don't believe that has
been done yet.

Brent & Terry Christenson

1/30/2006
