Since the city has
already granted one extension and prioritizes compliance, a 60-day extension is not feasible. However, the city will
grant one more extension until April 30, 2025.
Additionally, we are extending the City Council agenda item to May 5, 2025, where we will seek direction regarding
the potential revocation of your CUP should the property not be brought into compliance by the deadline.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you
Chris Leeseberg
City of Elk River — Senior Planner
13065 Orono Parkway, Elk River, MN 55330
763.635.1033 E1kRiverMN.gov
From: nmehra@mehralaw.com <nmehra@mehralaw.com>
Sent: Wednesday, March 26, 2025 6:55 PM
To: Chris Leeseberg <CLeeseberg@ElkRiverMN.gov>
Subject: Fwd: Automatic reply: Extending the CUP remedy date
Hi Chris -
My name is Nand Mehra. I am attorney for Omar Alnuaimi. After a conversation with Jared Shepherd, City's attorney, I
sent the email below today. Apparently he is out of town and we need help on this matter prior to his return.
As I described in the email, Mr. Alnuaimi is going to need more time to remedy the requested city CUP compliance. We
are respectfully requesting a 60 day extension.
Thank you for understanding and consideration.
Best,
Nand Mehra
Begin forwarded message:
From: Jared ShepherdJShepherd@ck-law.com>
Date: March 26, 2025 at 6:28:59 PM CDT
