Request for Action Item Number 11.2 Prepared By Joe Stremcha, Business Services Director/Assistant City Administrator Reviewed by Katie Harstad Cal Portner Tina Allard Background/Discussion The City Council and Multipurpose Facility Advisory Commission held a joint Work Session in August 2024 to discuss the 2025 FT Center rate schedule. The City Council determined that the future rates for the FT Center will be discussed annually in April to be effective January 1 the following year. This gives the city and its user groups ample time to budget and plan accordingly. Contracts • Existing contracts with terms ending in 2024 were extended to expire on December 31, 2024. • Existing contracts with terms ending in 2025 or later will not be renewed. • User groups will follow the established FT Center rate structure upon the sunset of contract terms.
