The current ordinance requires that the by-laws be reviewed and updated annually at either the first <br />meeting of the calendar of the year (January) or the first meeting with any newly elected or appointed <br />members (March). The by-laws do not currently reflect this. Staff suggests adding this language to Article X <br />("Amendments to Bylaws"), Paragraph 1. <br /> <br />6. While the city clerk's office recommends rotating the holders of the chair and vice-chair positions, there is <br />nothing currently in the by-laws or an ordinance that requires it.
