<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION <br />TO SPECIAL MEETING <br />OF APRIL 13, 1976 <br /> <br />Insurance and Fringe Benefits for CETA Employees : <br />Information provided by CETA representative, Karen Dorholt, states that any CETA <br />applicants hired under the short term plan, Title I are not provided medical insurance, <br />PERA, or any other benefits by the employer (City of Elk River). The only responsibility <br />of the employer is the time reports and job evaluation reports, which forms are p~ovided by <br />the CETA office. <br /> <br />Of the two applicants, Lawrence Johnson and Mike Costello, only one remains. Mike <br />Costello notified City Hall on 4-15-76 that h~ is not interested in the job. It should <br />be noted that at the time of job interviews, the applicants were informed that duties may <br />include evening work for the operation of the ballpark concession stand. <br /> <br />At this time it is not know if city insurance covers any property damage or theft <br />regarding the ballpark concession stand. Dan Greene, First National Insurance Agency, <br />handles the insurance and could not find the property included on the'list of coverage. He <br />will check further and inform the Park Board of its findings. <br />
