Talked to Deputy Joe Cook, Sherburne County Sheriff's <br />Department regarding backboard for First Aid equipment. Deputy Cook <br />operates the Big Lake Ambulance Service. He will give us a backboard <br />free of charge for use at the beach. <br /> <br />March 30, 1975. Talked to Wayne Becklin and advised him of two applications <br />being made for lifeguard; Patty Bailey and Janice Klein. Both are qualified <br />as Water Safety Instructors. Wayne also said he checked into swimming lesson <br />cost in the Metro Area and they are running approximately $6.00 per child. <br />He advised raising our rates to $4.00 per child and a $10.00 maximum for three <br />or more children in one family. This would not include adults and that fee <br />would also be $4.00 per person. <br /> <br />March 27, 1975. Talked to Chuck Savela, City Clerk, in regards to proposed <br />pay increases fol;' all lifeguards. He advised that the City Council would <br />not approve pay increases beyond $.25 per hour, except for Wayne Becklin's <br />additional raise as Supervisor.
