In 2016, turnout was 74.72% and in 2020, it was 79.96%. <br /> <br />In 2023, a law change extended the deadline for receiving absentee ballots by five hours from 3:00 p.m. to <br />8:00 p.m. According to the Office of the Secretary of State, several counties reported a high volume of <br />absentee ballots arriving on Election Day. <br /> <br />Financial Impact <br />N/A <br /> <br />Mission/Policy/Goal <br />N/A <br /> <br />Attachments <br />1.
