Request for Building Permits without Sidewalk Completion
Lennar is requesting the issuance of building permits for lots in Bradford Park 1st Addition so that we may continue to
build homes throughout the winter. The development agreement requires installation of sidewalks prior to permit
issuance. The roadways shown below in yellow have been paved and small utilities will be installed beginning at the end
of November.
Michels does not allow developers to schedule small utility installation prior to roads being paved. We paved the streets
on October 23, 2024 and
immediately called to
schedule small utility
installation. Michels’ first
crew availability was
November 18, 2024. With a
construction timeline of two
weeks that puts completion
at approximately December
2, 2024. Sidewalks cannot
be installed prior to
installation of small utilities
so unfortunately, due to
weather constraints, we will
not be able to install
sidewalks in 2024. We
commit to making sidewalk
installation a priority in the
Spring of 2025 as soon as
weather allows.
The snaphot on the
right is taken from the
Bradford Park address
map and illustrates in
yellow the addresses
Lennar may seek
building permits for
prior to sidewalk
installation.
Thanks,
Josh Metzer
Land Entitlement Mgr
Lennar
