Background/Discussion Per EDA bylaws, the positions of president, vice president and treasurer are elected annually. The role and duties of the secretary and the assistant treasurer have been delegated in the bylaws to the EDA’s Executive Director. In 2024, the officer positions were appointed as follows: President – Dan Tveite Vice President – Mike Beyer Treasurer – Jeff Hartwig Secretary and Assistant Treasurer – Delegated to Executive Director The bylaws state the following regarding each position: President: Shall be selected from among the commissioners, shall preside at all meetings of the commissioners, and shall have general charge of and control over the affairs of the Authority subject to the approval of the commissioners. Vice President: Shall be selected from among the commissioners, shall preside at all meetings in the absence of the president and shall perform such duties as may be assigned by the commissioners. Treasurer: Shall be selected from among the commissioners, shall receive and is responsible for Authority money and for acts of the assistant treasurer.
