There is no limit on the number of low potency hemp retailers allowed in the city. There is no limit on the number of medical cannabis combination businesses allowed in the city. DIVISION 4. Requirements Sec. 26-226. Requirements for Cannabis Businesses a) Minimum Buffer Requirements 1) The city shall prohibit the operation of a cannabis business within 500 feet of a school as measured from the property line to property line at the nearest point or from property line to the nearest point of the leased premises if the retail business is located in a multi -tenant facility. 2) Pursuant to Minn. Stat. 462.357 subd. 1 e, nothing in Section 3.1 shall prohibit an active cannabis business or a cannabis business seeking registration from continuing operation at the same site if a (school /attraction within a public park that is regularly used by minors) moves within the minimum buffer zone. b) Hours of Operation 1) Cannabis businesses are limited to retail sale of cannabis, cannabis flower, cannabis products, lower -potency hemp edibles, or hemp -derived consumer products to between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. Monday - Saturday, and 11:00 a.m. — 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. DIVISION 5. Temporary Cannabis Events Sec. 26- 227. License Required. A temporary cannabis event permit issued by the city is required prior to holding a temporary cannabis event. Sec. 26-228. Application a) An applicant shall fill out an application form, as provided by the city. The application shall include, but is not limited to: 1) Full name of the property owner and the applicant; 2) Address, email address and telephone number of the applicant; 3) Letter from property owner authorizing the event on their property; 4) Site plan of event space, including location and number of access points; 5) Proposed capacity of event space; 6) Dates of proposed event; 7) Duration of event, including beginning and ending times; 8) Other information as required by the city based on the type or size of the event. b) The applicant shallinclude with the application form: 1) The application fee outlined in the city fee schedule. The application fee is non-refundable; 2) A copy of the OCM cannabis event license application, submitted pursuant to 342.39 subd.;
