The first going to all accounts is the <br />winter 2024 edition of the Current newsletter, which covers the decommissioning of the <br />power plant, tree trimming, utility scams notice, SmartHub, ERMU's communications <br />award, and more. Residential electric customers will also receive the attached Advanced <br />Metering Infrastructure (AMI) flyer. All customers received a version of this flyer earlier <br />in 2024 at the beginning of the project, the current language informs customers that we <br />have begun the electric meter change out portion. <br />• In addition to bill insert topics, social media posts this month feature a variety of topics <br />including the commission meeting notice, commercial rebates and energy audits <br />through our partnership with Frontier Energy, and holiday closures/garbage delays. <br />• Communications & Administrative Coordinator Jenny Foss continues to attend <br />Leadership Program meetings once a month through the Elk River Area Chamber of <br />Commerce. In November, the focus for the group was on non-profit organizations while <br />the December session will take participants on a behind -the -scenes tour of the <br />Sherburne County jail. <br />• The communications team is in the process of making updates to the communications <br />schedule, bill inserts plan, and website changes for 2025. <br />• Communications staff continues to attend weekly AMI meetings to ensure that <br />messaging to customers is current and accurate. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />• Bill Insert — The Current - Winter 2024 <br />• Bill Insert — AMI Update — Electric Meters Notice <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />143 <br />
