Follows all policies, procedures and practices related to alcohol service, food <br />handling/sanitation guidelines, and general safety. <br />Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities <br />Skill to communicate effectively with a variety of groups. <br />Ability to deny service when necessary. <br />Ability to keep accurate records. <br />Ability to work independently and assume responsibilities with minimal direct supervision. <br />Ability to operate a cash register, accurately count and record cash received. <br />Ability to present a positive and professional image of the City to the public. <br />Ability to follow all City policies. <br />Minimum Qualifications <br />Experience handling money. <br />Experience dealing with the public. <br />Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older. <br />Preferred Qualifications <br />Experience with alcohol sales. <br />Physical Requirements <br />On a continuous basis, must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time. <br />On a frequent basis, must be able to bend, stoop, and kneel and to perform custodial duties. <br />On an occasional frequent basis must be able to lift 20 pounds from floor to waist and have <br />the ability to carry it over 25 feet. <br />On an occasional basis must be able to lift 10 pounds over head. <br />On occasional basis, must be able to climb a step ladder. <br />This Position Description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
