City Council Minutes <br />July 29, 2024 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />Liquor <br />Councilmember Westgaard expressed concerns about diminished signage capacity for the Northbound <br />Liquor Store if it is relocated onto Coborn's property. Mayor Dietz asked staff to discuss with the <br />economic development division, moving the progress of activity for the sale of the northbound store site <br />because decisions need to be made on whether to repair the building. <br />Councilmember Wagner questioned the reduction in transfers out of the liquor fund from $1 million to <br />$750,000. Mr. Portner noted the money may be needed in the future to offset the cost of the bonds for <br />the relocating or rebuilding of the northbound store site. <br />Finance <br />The Council had a discussion on credit card fees and consolidation of credit card companies. <br />4. MOTION TO ADJOURN <br />Moved by Councilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Grupa to adjourn the <br />meeting of City Council.
