The staff report was presented. President Tveite opened the public hearing. There being no one to speak to this matter, President Tveite closed the public hearing. Commissioner Blesener asked to clarify the 10 jobs per $20,000 and asked if that was a misprint. Mr. O'Neil clarified that it was a misprint and stated it should be I job per $20,000. Moved by Commissioner Blesener and seconded by Commissioner Wagner to, approve, Resolution 24-03 authorizing a loan of $200,000 to Heritage Millwork, Inc. Motion Carried 5-0. Commissioner Westgaard abstained due to a conflict of interest. 7. GENERAL BUSINESS 7.1 Placer.ai Presentation Staff shared a presentation of relevant reports and features from Placer.ai which include: leakage report, downtown visitation trends, FT Center analysis, and 169 Redefine impacts, among others, as outlined in the meeting packet. 7.2 Public Art Agreement The staff report was presented. President Tveite commented that public art makes a community more attractive, and anything that makes the community more attractive makes it a bigger draw for companies to support local economic development. Moved by Commissioner Westgaard and seconded by Commissioner Wagner to approve a professional services agreement between the EDA and Artist Carey Dean as outlined in the staff report. Motion Carried 6-0. 7.3 General Updates The staff report was presented and the following updates were provided: There will be a budget workshop in July. Price Homes will be holding a ribbon cutting ceremony tomorrow, June 18 from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. for the former movie theater building. They plan on showcasing what they want to do with the whole facility to generate interest from future tenants.
