Feature 10 - Before reaching Zimmerman, this project capitalizes on an opportunity provided by a <br />trailside opening that offers expansive views of a large wetland complex, by constructing an <br />additional shade structure/rain shelter to provide respite on exceptionally hot days and seeking <br />shelter from an unexpected rain event on a longer trail experience. A picnic table and waste <br />receptacle is planned to make this an ideal picnic spot. This location would also be home to an <br />interpretive panel that highlights the fascinating history of the Great Northern Regional Railroad, <br />ties to pages 6-7 of the GNRT Master Plan. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Page 76 of 125
