Feature 4 - Continuing north 1.7 miles, trail users cross 221st Avenue where there is a GNRT Parking <br />Facility. Here we propose a branded trailhead Kiosk, consistent with the southmost trailhead <br />proposed at Proctor Road – which would be constructed and positioned to be visible from <br />approaching vehicles. ADA accessible width limiter gates, consistent with the construction and <br />design standard set forth by the U.S. Forest Service in “Vehicle Barriers: Their Use and Planning <br />Considerations” will be installed on both the north and south intersections of trail and road. This <br />feature is proposed inset from the road at each intersection from here north, to serve two purposes: <br />1. exclude motorized vehicles and 2. slow trail users at before road crossing. <br />Page 67 of 125
